The Hotel Catalina, my home away from home! I started traveling around costa rica in 2005 and stumbled upon this gem. It's such a wonderful place to stay. Ive gone back every year since. Its safe, inviting, and relaxing. Naomi and Sandra are the upmost accomadating. You'll not only stay there with peace at mind.. you'll leave with it too!

An Oasis... Jaco has something to offer everyone. The Catalina on the other hand, will keep you coming back over and over. I stayed at the Best Western our first time in Jaco. I hated it, and found the Poseiden. It was nice, but small, in an alley with no breeze or view. Then while walking down the beach I was drawn to this inviting little hotel. We checked in, but our souls have never checked out. I dream about Costa Rica,but when I dream, I see, feel, and smell the Catalina. Thank you for creating a place I can call home when I go back to Costa Rica.

The peacefull attention that we received from you, simple and genuine. I miss Costa Rica, the pool, and the gorgeous sunsets, right there at our feet. Not to forget the enchanting sounds of nature, when sleeping with the waves nearby. We have been traveling for many years now and we still miss that small piece of heaven. Thanks to you Naomi, Sandra, thanks for the smiles and your good spirit... et a bientot.. Merci encore!
